INKAMPU means "camp" in Xhosa. Inkampu is located near Al Madam in Sharjah just a few kilometers away from the Oman border, just 60 minutes drive from Dubai, 90 minutes from Abu Dhabi and 70 minutes from Al Ain. At INKAMPU offers an organised camping experience for people to enjoy. Inkampu is NOT a party destination where loud music is allowed.
Campers must bring their own camping gear and set up their camp in the designated campsite they have booked. Additionally, there is the option of renting selected camp equipment, such as tents, chairs, and tables. While some setup is still required, once completed, campers can relax and enjoy the scenery and views of the Hajar mountains or take a walk in the dunes. Visitors can also explore local attractions in the area.

INKAMPU provides facilities onsite, including serviced washrooms with HOT and COLD showers. Each washroom has a dedicated water point for washing and cleaning items, situated outside the washroom. For those who may have forgotten essential items such as ice or firewood, the INKAMPU Shop has a variety of camping essentials available. Day visitors are welcome and must pay a fee upon arrival.
WHATS NEW!!! We have 7 new tented campsites. These have all the essential gear (tent, strechers, double pallet bed and mattrass, picnic table and dedicated braaipit (BBQ). For the families who dont have equipment but want to experience camping in the UAE.
Inkampu has a large swimming pool area with shade. There are kids play areas to keep the little ones occupied while parents relax and unwind.
Located around the venue are social braai/BBQ areas. The "lapa" is the main gathering area where families relax and enjoy the conversation and meet new people. Morning coffee and tea is available everyday from 6am. Water pointsare located nearby (but not for drinking). Take the opportunity to gather with family and friends and enjoy the desert evenings.
