INKAMPU means "camp" in Xhosa. Inkampu is located near Al Madam in Sharjah just a few kilometers away from the Oman border, just 60 minutes drive from Dubai, 90 minutes from Abu Dhabi and 70 minutes from Al Ain. At INKAMPU offers an organised camping experience for people to enjoy.
Campers must still bring their own camping gear and do their own camp set up in the dedicated campsite they have booked. The camp area is suitable for tents and big camping trailers. Inkampu does offer a limited number exclusive organised tented campsites for those who want to camp but do not have equipment. There is also the option of renting selected camp equipment, like tents, chairs, tables. There is still a bit of work to be done to set up your area for the weekend. Once set up sit back, relax and take in the scenery and views of the Hajar mountains or take a walk in the dunes. You can also head out to visit some attractions in the area.

INKAMPU has facilities available onsite. These are, serviced washrooms with HOT and COLD showers located around the camp site. Each washroom has a dedicated water point where campers can wash and clean their things. These areas are located outside the washroom. In case you forgot to pack the essentials, ice or firewood, the INKAMPU Shop will have you covered. Visit the shop to see the variety of camping essentials available.Day visitors are welcome and need to pay a fee on arrival.

Inkampu has a large swimming pool area with shade. There are kids play areas to keep the little ones occupied while parents relax and unwind.
Located around the venue are social braai/BBQ areas. The "lapa" is the main gathering area where families relax and enjoy the conversation and meet new people. Morning coffee and tea is available everyday from 6am. Water points will be located nearby (but not for drinking). Take the opportunity to gather with family and friends and enjoy the desert evenings.
